This scooter has every reason not to buy. Small battery that probably won't last 30 minutes of riding. Low max motor power meaning that it'll be crawling going up any hill. You need 800 watts to get some decent speed on hill. No suspension stacked on top of the honeycomb tire meaning you'll feel every tiniest bump riding in the city.

I just got this delivered yesterday. I weigh about 200 lbs and I got about 7 miles with full throttle during most of my test drive which topped out at 14.99 mph even with the app setting. The charging was kind of weird because after running it to 0% within the app, I later got home and plugged it in but it showed 35% after about 5-10 minutes. I took it immediately back out into my neighborhood and was able to get another 1.5 miles or so before it started getting a little sluggish in speed. I'm not sure if its a safety feature to not drop below a certain voltage or if the battery is not calibrated correctly. But aside from that it seems pretty decent for the price. The vibrations do hurt my hands after about 10-15 minutes of riding so it might be a good idea to get a scooter with a suspension.

Any one know if the battery are replaceable? For $100 I expect the battery wont last but if replaceable then this is a good light weight option for short downtown commute.

I have this scooter, I paid over $250 for it a couple years ago. It does go faster when you unlock the speed settings in the app via bluetooth. It says max of 19mph I believe, but thats probably someone weighing under 100lbs on flat ground with a tailwind perhaps. I get 17mph max, which is feels very fast on a scooter. Take note that this scooter doesn't have any kind of shocks or suspension, so ride on anything other than flat ground at your own risk. About a year ago I was driving this fast on the shoulder of a road, I hit a pothole and it sent me flying off the scooter into the road. I got some sick roadrash, but luckily walked away. I strongly suggest wearing a helmet and only level ground (bike paths, empty parking lots, etc). For just over $100, I def recommend it. I repaired mine and still use it. I keep it in my trailer for events where I have to park my trailer fair from my destination.
Yea. My top speed with my kick longboard is 17 mph on flat. I have kick scooter and the top speed that I hit on it with smooth asphalt was 20 mph. Bike was 31 mph max. Even when I go downhill, I really don't want to be hitting 20 mph with my kick scooter. Dangerous and feels a bit scary. It really felt fast and you can feel every bump because lack of legit suspension. To me scooter and skateboards lack legit braking so going max speed at really fast speed is pretty risky especially with road debris. I think 16 mph max speed is definitely respectable. If someone is doing 16-19 mph regularly on a scooter or a bike, they better wear a helmet. I always wear a bike helmet and regular bike cruising speed is like 12 mph. I rarely see anyone wearing a helmet with e-scooters. I see lot of "smart" kids wearing motorcycle helmets with these really fast e-bikes. You gotta be safe when doing wheelies in the packed parking lot. Ha

Is this the same one? Seems like some people have problems with these breaking at the weld.

I have this scooter by another name, but it's built exactly the same and specs. At this price, it's not bad for putting around, but it does struggle a bit going uphill. Took it for a 4mi roundtrip run in SF and it moved just a tad faster than walking uphill around the Chinatown hills if that gives you an idea. The lower hills around the downtown were okay.

Not much power for big adult i got a 600w off walmart for 319.00 and it max weight is 330 and truely goes about 15 miles per hour. It says 25 but these things lie big time. Up hill it like 5 mph but im a big guy and i have had zero problems with it . I would pass if your buying for a adult unleass you weight like 130 lbs. also these are for basic riding and not designed for jumps/dirt. You will fill evey bump!

Looks just like a xiomi m365.
a lot of these no-name or small-name chinese scooters are knockoffs of the m365, which is not a bad thing. like another commenter I have the Maxshot V1 SPRO which is also a xiomi-clone, and I've been very impressed with it for NYC commuting. The lack of suspension / hard tires has not been a problem at all for me, and the performance has been great. No idea if this scooter is similar in anything but looks, but for the price it's probably decent for short trips / last mile.

I'm not sure if I can get past my distrust of anything from AliExpress (or Temu, for that matter). Otherwise, I'd be inclined to buy it.
