These types of can openers with the plastic handles seem to break easily. I bought one like this and one that was all steel. The plastic one broke after I opened two cans of tuna. It didn't last 5 minutes. The all steel old fashioned one works best. I was told this and it's 💯 % true.

According to reviews on Amazon, the kitchenaid ones don't last very long, they aren't made like they were years ago.

OXO has been the best one for us. We use it in a restaurant environment and have gone through many, don't go cheap; just my 2 cents.
I just bought the kitchen aid one like 2 weeks ago and it's amazing. No experience with this one, but i might get it just to compare
