The whole state of Hawaii has become pricier

Thing is, I like food variety and Honolulu is open late…
I can get good eats at 9pm or later

Rest of state/ other islands, close shop at 8pm or earlier
and you just have a limited food choices at those hours

Haven't been to Oahu since 2016. I heard Waikiki has become more crowded and expensive. I'd try to find an airbnb outside Honolulu for a prime experience.

I heard the state added an "environmental tax" to all visitors.

On many tropical islands the locals pollute more than the tourists. The more you know
This is true.
Source: I live in hnl and see far more locals trashing the island than do tourists.

If I lived on the west coast to me it seems like a great deal. My only question is NON-STOP? Well I should hope so! It is a straight shot over the ocean! Where the hell would we stop?!🤪
