"SmaringRobot" sounds more like someone's Reddit username than a name of a masking tape company.
That said, at $6, I'll probably order a pack. I don't think I'd trust it for painting but I'm constantly using masking tape around the garage.

I'm not disagreeing with you, but look at the "release" if you are using it for anything semi important. I use frog tape for exterior painting and staining, which is pricey, because it can stay on for like 2 weeks and still release. With some other tapes if you let them sit for 2 weeks they don't pull off or leave glue residue all over. I have no idea what you are using it for, just thought I'd share my experience.
