Best price I have seen on this model. I paid a ~3.50 more in June. It uses 2 stiff rubber rings to hold it in the headlamp format, which is very nice since it also works as a pretty bright detachable flashlight. also has magnetic tail cap and 21700 battery with usb-charging

Note: This item ships from a U.S. warehouse.

Price may fluctuate slightly due to currency exchange and will vary depending on the product chosen. You must be signed into your AliExpress account and have your shipping address inputted to add items to your cart and place an order. Ordered one. Good battery platform. Ordered in 5000k. Sofirn makes legit flashlights with good batteries with MAH ratings that I have tested to be accurate

Think the listed MSRP inflated but still half price of what it is at Amazon and cheaper than from Sofirn directly. Puts it well in deal territory.

ya, their msrp is inflated as just about anything, but only thing that matters is final price

That is just what i said.
You miss what I meant and that is that the MSRP that is inflated is the one that SD lists. This is not a $104 light unless you are a fool and you are not saving $80.

You are getting about half off the real MSRP. Regular price on Amazon ois $54 and you can get it direct form Sofrin for around $40 or less most all the time.

yes, you're right, i did miss that part. i also put msrp for $48, vs some weird # aliexpress has. i am not sure if it's even msrp on their page vs something else, i dont even know. but usually these when they came out were $47.99 if i remember right, but usual sale price covers between $35-40, so $24 for this, imo, is a great price.

Damn you guys. I dont really need this.

Especially don't think 21700 has any business as a headlamp because of the size, but I really want a right angle light, and the fact this uses the sst20 makes it even better.

you know. the days of large flashlights are kinda gone, this one uses 21700 but it's like smaller than typical 18650 headlamps that I have. it's scary in some ways

Kind of the same here.I want one to for the extended runtime, light and power but do wonder if really needed as I like smaller headband lights. Yes as just true right angle it may still be a value and I guess at times maybe headband use but the 21700 seems large to me as well. Even 18650 starts getting a bit tiring with weight on my forehead. I switched to smaller battery format for one headlamp and for 18650 in headlamp gave up the right angle right for a HS21 that I do find more comfortable and easier to use.

BTW thanks for getting me thinking about a 21700 or even a 18650 exploding directly on my forehead right above my eyes and face.

i'm really debating this one myself. i'm used to the smaller and more basic headlamps from lowes and such but are plenty bright for me. also, in terms of cost, could probably get a two pack for this sale price. is this a "get one lamp and use forever" type thing? appreciate the thoughts.

Once I tried some Sofirns I am kind of on the other side of that. They do make really nice lights that typically way outperform what you can grab off the shelf anywhere. I am not adverse to cheap and low cost items if nice but if nicer and better performing ones get down close to the prices for the more generic and cheap ones I will go for the nicer. Which kind of makes some of the these new lows for Sofirns a no brainer to me.

I do consider this a hell of a deal and if I didn't have some larger lights already I would probably jump in. I do think the 21700 to big for me for headlamp use but as a right angle flashlight it is still a great deal. To get something similar anywhere else you might be paying $100 or more. The battery alone in this is a $10 item. This is a ridiculously low price. $55 at Amazon and one even sold on ebay for $76

If you do not want the 21700 due to size size there are plenty of 18650 and smaller format Sofirms popping up at low prices and I would recommend one of them over most off the shelf stuff. I almost hate to upscale you as I am frugal aby nature but think you will see what I mean if you get one. The good news with these deals is you can upscale with small outlay.
