Wish M12 would offer a gyroscopic driver like Dewalt has. Hopefully sometime soon. Comes in clutch for any kind of racking/unracking but prefer to stick to my primary tool system (m12/18) whenever possible.

I would say this is fine for 50 bucks because it includes a battery and charger, but I got one for $25 off a guy and I really wanted to like the thing, but it sees very little use. If you're not already in the M12 line and you want a starter kit, go for it, but if you're looking for value the Hyper tough 12vs brushless at $40 is a better deal. The HT is a much nicer feeling tool and much more versatile with a chuck instead of the hex bit holder.

thanks for the info. I was posting this mainly for the battery hack. but at 1.5ah idk if charging every 30 min is worth the hassle.

This is a great little tool. I've had mine for about 4 years and paid the same for it back then. No issues and makes quick work of anything you'd use a manual screw driver for. Comes in really handy when the wife brings home another random ikea furniture purchase.

This is actually a solid deal. I just bought two of these. The kit comes with 2x 1.5Ah batters plus the two free battery set. So the drill plus 4 batteries. If you do the "hack" you get the tool with 2 batteries for $50 which is great. This is a perfect kit to toss in my truck for light duty needs and around the house. I do have a lot of the m12 line so batteries galore
