Both the Diveblues and the Playhot have identical bodies while the head of the Playhot is larger than the Diveblues. Strangely enough, even with the larger head, the intake on the back of the Playhot fan head is smaller in diameter than the Diveblues. Similarly, the fan blades are smaller than the Diveblues. The air output of the Diveblues FEELS decently stronger but I believe that is due more to the concentrated beam of air coming out of the Diveblues unit when compared to the Playhot that has a much more narrow air output ring around the larger center display that I think causes a wider air dispersion ring.
Measurements taken on fan speed 5 for each of the units came out to:
Diveblues: ~ 1,160-1,180 ft/min
Playhot: ~ 1,100-1,120 ft/min
Ultimately, the Diveblues still wins out with a higher air speed output along with the better/smaller head design. I'm still comfortable holding on to this fan and, after some initial feedback from others, I believed the Playhot would perform much worse than it did. It didn't take 1st place but it absolutely beats the other model of fan I purchased recently with this same form factor so I'll still consider this a win.

Yeah, Slickdeals is filled with unfairly promoted garbage and staffers filling post quotas... and yet, we are all still here. Why do you think that is? It is because there are actually some good products and deals posted too. Just because similar USE products become popular doesn't necessarily mean every one of those products is a bad one. You aren't the only user to call out staffers. Just maybe have a better idea of what you're talking about before coming in and calling other Slickdealers out as, "Shills" for discussing products they have actually used and enjoy. Here is just one example of a recent time I called out staffers for posting just to post:
