I've put a few of these in for folks. Easiest way is to purchase a 4x4 ground spike anchor and attach these to a 4x4 about 36" off the ground or so. Depending on the mount, you might need to attach a piece of treated 2x4 if you need the extra width for mounting it, using the best outdoor screws for the job. The ground spike works great and eliminates the need to do any cement work.

Almost pulled the trigger even though I don't need it, then I saw some video reviews of the leaks. Oof pass

Seems like a random brand from a generic factory.
Storefront has 2 items: https://www.amazon.com/s?me=A2WJN...PDKIKX0DER

What makes this dela better than 100 others that show up in search results with near identical designs just maybe a different piece of plastic of cover here and there.
https://www.amazon.com/s?k=retracting+hose+reel

I'm just sad I missed the Costco deal on this thing for $129 must have gone down to $99, if anything take it back so Costco can stop carrying crappy merchandise if enough people return it.
This whole hose and reel business is a big messy situation, there is never a good solution, either ugly and functional, good looking but pain to use, and these retractable reels seems like perfect solution if they work properly and last.

Any thoughts on attaching this direct to a block house using tap cons?
I did that, no issues after one year. Four tap cons for something like this is overkill. I personally like 5/8 over 1/2. There's a difference on water flow. I bought it at Costco. I installed mine about 7-8 feet in the air. It looks a bit weird comparatively, but it's so nice to be able to pull it over the fence, over cars, etc.

Now hold on a minute there, fella, there is nothing wrong with Hank's, uh, man parts. Just because Cotton has a narrow ureety, doesn't mean he passed it on to Hank. Bobby might not be right, but he was conceived just fine, thank you very much.

Does the deal require that you have prime? Code doesn't work for me (but I don't have prime). Didn't see it clearly stated as a requirement though.
