word of advise, Dell support is horrible to deal w/. Got a defective OSD joystick unit and contacted Dell because I bought it during prime day for better price. Dell claimed unit is over 30 days old and they cannot send me a new replacement only refurbished, I showed all documents from Amazon stating its less than 30 days and I'm still within returnable period w/ Amazon but they wouldn't take it, stating 'order summary' isn't the 'invoice' they're looking for to validate. There's no replacement option thru Amazon either. So I ended up returning it because neither side will do anything. Buy at your own discretion but I will never deal w/ Dell support again.

Amazon has a link/button to view your Invoice from the Order Details page, in case you have a problem in the future. It's what I've always used for warranty claims / proof of purchase for products from any company. Not disagreeing with you on Dell support though. Business support has been good to me, but consumer support is a different story.

That's what I used, if you look at the PDF output it'd still title "order summary" . Had all the information like order number/ date, delivered date, payment method and amount, but because it said order summary, they don't accept it. I've gone through my order details many times and couldn't produce a document that said "invoice" on top.

This is a good gaming monitor but for any productivity its not good. The text clarity is just awful in my opinion.
This is simply not true. I have this monitor for almost 3 years. Text clarity out of the box is ok, but can be made perfect. Due to the sub pixel layout being different than LED, Windows clear type is adding antialiasing to the wrong location. There is an easy fix shown here https://www.reddit.com/r/Monitors...ayouttext/
Someone in that thread even created an ini file so you don't have to do any of the work just download his profile. Also, mactype is recognized by windows now so all the comments there saying how they have to allow mactype in their antivirus is no longer correct.
Basically you tell mactype how the pixel layout is aligned and it fixes the text clarity. Some people are more sensitive to text fringe than others, too. Check this Linus video out it has the same panel as this Alienware and better explains the issue and fix. https://youtu.be/PR-1tMih0fM

People like to say this about OLED's generally. I don't get it.
