which part is overpriced? i think i would put word overpriced in a different context,

for example overpriced to me means there are cheaper options with that video card, cpu, and ram... and obv 18" chassis, and afaik i know not much even comes closer

vs, not worth it, because it's missing something that is crucial to you specifically. i think those are 2 different things, and for example... i have few deal breakers, such i need number pad on my keyboard, so others that don't have it, are simply excluded, no matter how cheap they are.

Show me a 5090 legion then I'll shut up. Until then this is pretty good on price. Please don't respond.

Pretty sure they meant show them the 5090 legion that is $1k less than this, and to not bother responding otherwise.

So you ask for proof of a certain config, then say "Please don't respond"? Whether that config exists or not doesn't matter...the attitude to tell a person not to respond is not what this site is about.

Also, is this not a Legion with a 5090?

I am seeing $3800 for this? Was there some deal that was $1500 less recently or something?

Would never buy a chunky Alienware but good to finally see prices are starting to drop like flies on the 5000 series laptops after holding pretty constant for the first few months of release. Even the Asus Zephyrus G16 lineup is seeing its first discounts in the last few weeks. Last week the G16 5080 went down to 3K, and now this week the 5070TI dropped to 2320. Need the 5080 to drop to 2500 and I'll be a happy camper! I can tell from the stock of my local Best Buy that even these discounted prices aren't moving stock much. Must be the economy....

Beastly machine, and a good price, for the times we are in. As someone gaming on laptops since 2008, I'll just add that gaming laptops depreciate like Android tablets, so please bear that in mind while springing for one of these. You can also game on 800 usd gaming laptops with rtx 4060/rx 7700s. This is for someone who knows exactly what they're doing, or those for whom 3200 isn't a lot of money.
Interested in this depreciation comment. Where do you buy deprecated laptops. It's not Facebook marketplace, ebay or Craigslist. I actually haven't looked at cl but....

Maybe there will one day be an economic predictor. When gaming laptops stop selling recession is soon to follow

Are people going crazy or I am the crazy one? 2 years ago $2000 for 4090 laptop would be barely considered as a deal. Now today's 4090 is 5090 and $3200 for it is on frontpage.. Im shocked

I'm not complaining about any price. Yes, the Lenovo Legion 5090 is more expensive, but cost was not the point.
