Without a doubt, these are the best sounding and most-comfortable 'budget' closed-back circumaural [around ear] headphones you can get.
I'm actually in-need of some closed backs to supplement my open-back SHP 9500s. Unfortunately, I *need* a detachable cable. As far as I'm concerned, that's the only 'flat-out negative' to the JVC HARX900s: No Removable Cable.
