edit Feb 2 2026: Charging results for iPhone 13 with premium high speed cable Type C to Lightening. With the iPhone 13 at 30% this ACE 313 ver 2 is charging at 5 volts 15 watts. But when the cable was moved to Otterbox Premium Pro 60 watt the full 20 watt speed was observed charging at 9 volts. This is because iPhone 13 sees the specific apple fast charge protocol offered by the Otterbox Premium Pro which it does not see as available from the ACE.
The ACE is still perfectly safe for iPhone which is limiting charging to 5 volts 15 watts as designed when connected to standard adapters w/o apple fast charge. DURABILITY: 6 months of daily use charging power banks, laptops and phones with no issues.

edit Aug 22: Just buy it. You won't be disappointed. Several weeks of testing with multiple devices yielded the fastest charge rate with very little battery heating and with the charger only getting slightly warm. It even charges my legacy USB devices using a Type C to MicroB adapter cable.

Just received mine today. Great buy, possibly discounted due to the lack of clear information in the ad copy.

edit #2: Aug 17 Getting a re-charge charge rate of 18 watts on older QC 3 power banks rated at 24 watts in on their microB input compared to 10 watts in from most other USB PD adapters. Full 30 watt re-charge rate on PD batteries so rated. 18 volts 34 watts Pixel 9 Pro XL charged from 20% to 70% in 20 minutes. Yes, two of the A2643 will fit on a standard duplex wall outlet.

Sticker on the box: "Anker 313 'ACE 2' Black Iteration Special" A2643. Made in Vietnam. No regrets. It's a hefty sub-compact GaN device wt= 90 g good apparent build quality. My Power Z KM0003c detects multiple available protocols not found often. Apple 2.4A,, AFC 24w,, UFCS 44w,, FCP,, QC3 5v,9v,12v and 3.6-12v,,,QC4+ Has USB PD 3.0 12 volt output not found on most other Anker, 5v, 9v, 15v@3 A and [email protected]. PPS 11v 4 or 5 A, PPS 21v 2.25 A. Meter screen shots available.

The advanced temperature regulation is clearly evident. Only slight warmth in the P9PXL and the 45w Chromebook batteries. The charger itself did not get hot. Easily the best version imo.

Special modes:
11v PPS@4 or 5 amps claimed for Samsung SFC 2.0 45 watt charging
18v PPS 34w observed for Pixel 9PXL starting with battery at 50%.

Charged my 45w Chromebook at 42w at 15v from half full with noticeably less heat than other chargers. This means that any concern over battery wear is unfounded. The advanced smart charging will result in less battery wear not more on my devices. I did not test Samsung SFC but you have the option to turn off 45w or use a standard cable.

( I've deleted speculation )

Searching Amazon for A2643 brings you to Anker 'Ace' A2677 ( old cube ).
1.49 x 1.38 x 1.61 inches
Item Weight 2.4 ounces
ASIN B0BQLHGLG4

Ask Google AI "A2643 vs A2677?

[ "The Anker A2643 ( 313 Ace 2 ) and A2677 ( 313 Charger ) are functionally the same, but the A2643 is the newer, larger model. The A2677 is a smaller, upgraded version of the A2643"]
What? The "upgraded" version came out prior to the "newer" version?

edit: ACE 2 has advanced features so it can't be 'functionally the same' Nor is it substantially larger than cube ACE.

[ "Features :Short circuit protection, temperature control, over-temperature protection, current stabilizer, high-voltage protection" ] applies only to A2643 'Ace 2'

Anker "Tech Support" was hosting its flight to the future when I called. "We're all Bozo's on this bus" I was assured Hope that helps.

Anker ACE 313 GaN 45w was $30, then $20 in recent months. Just dropped to $12 at Target. High comparability, durability according to many. Yes you're welcome and no I don't get paid for posting.

Great price.

However.....

Many may not care, but unless something has changed with some new phones, slower charging is better for your battery. I have fast chargers, but use "slow" charging when I can...

Not sure what phones have the software to do this (my pixel does), but it can do slow charging speed for overnight on a standard fast charger

adaptive charging just times the overnight charge so it happens just before you wake. it doesn't slow the rate

This is not correct and would make no sense. Why would anyone want that? Adaptive charging does in fact slow the rate so that the battery reaches 100% at a specific time.

Looks like you're both right.. sort of. It goes to 80 percent quickly, then floats there till an hour before you normally unplug to start your day and gradually fills the rest of the way

Note - the picture looks like the 25W version. The 313 (you can see on Anker's website) is more of a square. I was confused as I own a couple of the 45w 313's. Really small form factor with foldable plug, especially for a 45w. Would highly recommend!

Update: Looks like this is a 'new' style. Will return if it ends up being bigger (which it appears to look based on the pictures, but who knows). Old 'style' (square) was really portable.

Update 2: This thread explains it: https://xdaforums.com/t/new-anker...t.4549375/

This is the "Ace 2" version of the 45w. Specs are similar but supposedly slightly different on the PPS side. "Bigger but lighter".

Kid and Me both got the 6a at the same time. He used the google fast charger for the past few years. I used a slow charger...5 watts since I only charge at night. Guess whose battery is not doing well...his. Mine is still like new after a few years while he is having to charge mid day pretty much every day. There's one data point.

The picture on Slickdeals is not the one offered ot Target. The slickdeals pictured one is new and much more compact. Slickdeals bait and switch.
