This Casio is the best calculator for the price for a high school kid. You can use it up to precalculus.

Used the casio fx9750 gii at high school. I also tried the cg10 with color but 9750 was much faster at graphing, solving and exiting equations. I don't think these are programmable or graph-able like ti-84 and others. Still better than a kitchen calculator.

depends what you need it to do. for basic shit, it's an amazing calculator. If you need to do derivatives/integrals, complex numbers, lin alg, equation solver for polynomial eqs, base-n and metric conversions, spend a few more bucks and get the FX-115ES. for most folks until a 10th grade level, you'll be gtg with this tho
