How would this thing solve that problem?

If you're disabled (as I am) your wheelchair or mobility device is free

My 85 year-old father was just complaining yesterday about how much walking he had to do through airports on his last trip. But something tells me this may not be the solution for him. 😁

Just call and make reservations for a wheelchair for him. My wife used to do that for her mom. She never had to walk far.

I always see the airline employees with wheelchairs waiting for passengers.

Didn't know that, but I would probably tip anyway. They deserve it. I have no problem walking airports, but am collecting social security so who knows when it will be my turn.

Doubtful they will let the battery on the plane.
I've seen people with them waiting to board. Usually kids riding them.

Fyi this is luggage case is 20 lbs empty by itself. I like to know the exact audience that find walking between terminals difficult yet have no issues left a 20+ lb case (more like 35 lb when you put in any things you normally put in a carry on case) in the overhead bin
Good point but maybe for a mobility challenged traveling companion? Still a very limited use case there, my spouse needs a transport chair to get around anymore, no way in hell she'd be able/willing to ride that thing.

saw it before on shark tank, thr price tag was above 1k, I was surprised a shark invested it. Cool idea, but easily copiable. Even 400 sounds ridiculous πŸ™„

Counter intuitive but they require you bring the battery on the plane, not allowed to check them.
not really, if it catches fire someone can put it out, not the case if that happens in the luggage compartment.

20.7lbs while the typical weight allowance for a carry on is 22lbs. that's one day's worth of clothes πŸ˜‚

New TSA rule. Battery limit is 27000mAh. And the battery has to be removable from the luggage.
