I'm not seeing any specs listed for sampling rate or bit depth. Anyone see something I'm missing? When I don't see those specs listed, I typically assume it is the lowest quality of specs but most people probably won't care or notice.

yeah i dont see it too thats why i'm hesitating to order.
the sarcasm you are going for isn't as applicable here. If you just want an adapter and don't care about specs, yes, this is cheap. However, if you are looking for higher quality audio to use with nice headphones or speakers, you want an adapter that lists a higher sampling rate and bit depth to give you the best detail possible. That's why some of us are scrutinizing the product and hesitating because why would we buy it if we can't verify that it will accomplish the one thing we are buying it for? If you are just looking to hook up to some basic headphones or your stock car stereo, it would probably be more than fine.
Apple's version (which is not just for Apple devices) is only $9.00 at full price anywhere you can buy Apple phones, and routinely gets excellent reviews - see https://www.xda-developers.com/ap...r-your-pc/ among other sources. (Note for those outside of the US: the version sold in Europe differs and is allegedly inferior.) Given how cheap a good one is, I can't see spending $3.43 on a no-name no-spec knockoff. I am using the Apple one on one of my PC's. (It is literally the only Apple product I own.) While I wouldn't hold it against a $100 audiophile converter, it's quite impressive for $9.

If you are looking for a high quality DAC, why are you looking at something that is this cheap? I have a similar adapter from JSAUX that cost the same and works just fine with my phone. I also have the Apple version, which is also good, but sounds no better than the JSAUX. But when I'm using my phone, I'm not looking for the best sound, and I have literally dozens of headphones and earbuds. In the end, I would bet the posted adapter will sound fine, as very few people can hear any improvement in the sampling rates above 44.1/16, despite what they may claim.

It's amazing what these people expect...almost demand for $3-4. Do they also think the Wendy's value menu is going to tell them if the $1 burgers happen to be Wagyu beef?

the apple dongle might be great for the price and what it is, but for android users you have to be careful because the volume might be much lower using the apple dongle on an android

lol why are you people acting like I have said anything to the contrary of what you just said. I'm not scouring the bargain barrel at WalMart looking for high end audio equipment. I clicked on a post on Slickdeals so, yeah, it's cheap. I stated TWICE that most people will not even care or notice lower end specs out of this so why are you acting like I am making it seem like it will make all the difference in the world to any potential customers? If this is something you are looking for, that's great! I have high end audio equipment that I would only consider a better piece of hardware for. I have no other reason to buy this as I'm completely fine with using Bluetooth for any other time that I'm streaming music. I'm on a deal app. That's why I'm looking at something this cheap lol.
