If you get this make sure to register for the warranty within 30 days. One of my 7.5Ah batteries failed on me this weekend but I was just under the 3 year warranty. Called them and within 20 minutes they're sending me a brand new one with no hassle. Was so relieved because those batteries are EXPENSIVE.

There's no 30 day requirement for Ego's battery warranty. You get a full three years from date of purchase. For the 10Ah and 12Ah you get an additional two years if registered within 90 days of purchase.

Totally depends what you are running. This can run a lamp to a refrigerator. It can take multiple batteries and sizes.

I really wish Ego would release an updated model of this. One with integrated solar charging (with higher input wattage amd passthrough charging), support for the 12AHr batteries, app support.

For sure, was hoping for examples. I know someone who has one with 5 ah batteries who can run a chest freezer for 5 hours, but that seems weak

With the 2 x 7.5Ah batteries you'll get 840Wh of capacity. Compared to my Ecoflow River 2 Pro with 768Wh of capacity, that I paid ~$350 for, this seems very expensive. The River 2 Pro can run my deep freezer for ~9 hours or my full size fridge for ~7 hours.

This deal is trash unless you already own compatible EGO batteries and chargers, and even then it's trash.

Same. I want pass through charging so I can use my bolt to charge it at 1kw while things connected can draw more intermittently

The 12ah batteries don't fit/work with this?

It depends on the fridge. Older fridges have much higher startup surge compared to modern fridges, but if you have a modern fridge then it likely can. Mine is a 22 cu ft 3 door Samsung that is about 10 years old, and the River 2 Pro (768Wh) runs it just fine for 7 hours.
I also have a Bluetti AC180 (1152WH) that can run it for 12 hours. Between the two, I expect the Bluetti (1,800W AC Output / 2,700W Power Lifting Mode) would work with more fridges than the Ecoflow (800W AC Output / 1,600W X-boost mode).

Edit: My power just went out due to a thunderstorm (timing!), so I have my deep freezer on the River 2 Pro and the fridge on the AC180. I can rest easy knowing I'll be fine for the next 12 hours if need be.

Check out Will Prowse's YouTube channel. It will cost more, but the hand truck power stations he has built make a lot more sense unless you have a bunch of these Ego batteries already. This Ego is only 840wh vs 5120wh.
