You also can input on both the PD ports at the same time for a fast charge. It also can charge two laptops at the same time and works with my non-anker 100W solar panel.
Perfect size for camping and also to use to run my 12V cooler while parked on road trips. ( works like a UPS that way, I have a 12v cigarette charger that does a 100W that I plug into this to keep it charged. Then I plug my cooler into the 12v port on this. So when I stop the car it automatically keeps the cooler powered)
Does that mean it cannot accept any spikes over 300w or would you expect this might be a conservative underestimate by Anker?
Maybe best buys specs are wrong?
Anker's page says 600w peak for c300, best buy says 300w peak for c300x..
AI summary says both are peak 600.. what's the correct spec?

The 600W peak applies to the model with the AC inverter (the traditional 3 prong outlets). The manual for this model (the DC, without the 3 prong outlets) details out the output distribution with multiple ports in use at one time.

The 600W SurgePad, for the model with the AC inverter, not this model, is:
"SurgePad™ Anker SOLIX C300 Portable Power Station supports the SurgePad™ feature for up to 600W AC output. SurgePad™ automatically turns on when the total output exceeds the rated output, allowing the power station to deliver rated power to high-wattage devices. SurgePad™ does not function in bypass mode (when the power station is being charged with the AC output on). SurgePad™ works better with devices that generate heat, but does not support precision instruments and other devices that have voltage protection or strict voltage requirements. To see if SurgePad™ works with your high-wattage devices, try powering them with the power station."
It means that for that model with the 3 prong outlets, if your device uses a surge of wattage when it first powers on, the AC model can support up to a 600W surge -- but the sustained output is rated at a maximum of 300W (think of a vacuum cleaner when you first turn it on, this is called "inrush current").

From the EcoFlow TRAIL Series DC product page:
"How to turn on low current mode?
1. Connect a low-power device to the USB-A port.
2. Double-click the multi-function button. When the USB-A port flashes, low-current mode is enabled.
3. Low-current mode will last for 3 hours. You can double-click to exit early."
