FYI you can get 2 free recyling bags here:

https://lorcoffee.com/products/lor-recycling-bag

And no sales tax (at least in WA State) since technically the coffee machine is free and you are only paying for the pods which are a food item.

I have this and its a good deal. BUT if you like strong espresso/coffee, this is not it. I'll be switching back to Nespresso once I use up all my pods.

I just picked up my second free unit two weeks ago since I needed more capsules anyway. Wish I would have waited now. A frother would have been nice.

Picked up the machine (without the bonus frother/capsules) for $50 from woot a month ago. Much more solidly built than the machine it replaced and quality of crema is outstanding.

Haven't seen the larger sized pods at a decent price so I just use it for espresso pulls with the Nespresso original sized pods alongside with my keurig.

Got in on this deal last time, and it was exactly as advertised. I have been using a machine I got from costco and love it, nespressos come out well made a creamy. I guess I will now have 2 more on the shelf to give as gifts, since I needed more pods.

Not a fan of this particular coffee machine. I bought it on a previous sale.
  1. Expect longer delivery times, I got mine on about 3 weeks. The promo is pretty successful, good for them.
  2. Coffee is ok. Nothing to write home about. Pods are small and americano becomes watery. Espresso is fine.
  3. It never heats water properly, coffee comes out a little warmer than room temperature. I always have to seriously heat the milk I add to make cappuccino.
  4. Machine is flimsy! It's seriously not as well built as, let's say, Nespresso products.
  5. You need a lot of pods and discount on pods. My machine butchers at least every third pod. It just can't puncture it properly. Sometimes it just malfunction and only thing you can do ia to switch it off and wait for at least an hour. So you need a second more reliable coffee machine or have instant coffee ready.
How about vs the lavazza blue mini

Hmm never had any of these issues. only ever used the espresso pods but it's always hot and never had it fail to dispense a pod. Also not sure what about the build quality should be better as it seems pretty solid.

I heard since looooooong time ago, philips stop making stuffs, they sell their brand to whoever willing to pay some money and let them use philips brand..... so there are dozens of companies making stuff as philips but they ain't orginal philips.... and they could be gone and stop using that brand anytime.
So, you are right that they sell the use of their name. Phillips (a Dutch company)sold their small consumer electronics brand (naming) to Versuni (also dutch company) years ago. Under a licensing agreement retaining ultimate control. Versuni is not a name that equates with Temu Trash either...A 2 billion a year company that also owns coffee appliance names like, Gaggia, and Saeco. I feel safe buying this L'Or for what I would easily spend on a mediocre dinner out with the Squaw.

Got one of these a couple of months ago on the same deal. Took a long time to get it and the they arent very good at updating. The machine makes great coffee, both the coffee pods as well as the regular Nespresso Original Line as well. My only concern is like what others are saying is it seems they are going under. Also their coffee pods are very expensive, usually close to $1 each. Which isnt close to reasonable.

Design change most likely. It's made by Phillips, and I'm pretty sure Phillips is not going out of business. https://www.philips.com/c-p/LM801...ee-machine
Not made by Philips, they're just licensing the name.

I doubt they are going out of business but maybe just pulling out of the North American market. Unfortunately this has happened to all the other Keurig/Nespresso competitors too. We used to have Dolce Gusto, Tassimo and Senseo here in the USA but they all eventually left us yet they still are sold in Europe. We have no variety in this country when it comes to single-serve coffee options. Keurig sucks and Nespresso keeps jacking up their prices every few months. I'm ditching both and getting a Jura.
