Yours might be defective because I honestly haven't had a machine that gives a hotter coffee/espresso than this one. I am not kidding.

I pulled together a variety of pods to get over the $79 minimum to get the free machine.
Iced coffee 10ct; 5 blend espresso assortment 50ct; 3 espresso flavors assortment 30ct; Peet's midtown roast coffee 30ct. Added 2 of the recycling bags for free as well. $84.62 total
Getting for my wife so it's a good variety & I should be covered with something she'll like!

  5. You need a lot of pods and discount on pods. My machine butchers at least every third pod. It just can't puncture it properly. Sometimes it just malfunction and only thing you can do ia to switch it off and wait for at least an hour. So you need a second more reliable coffee machine or have instant coffee ready.

Don't believe they're going under however L'or is discontinuing this machine in the US (likely due to tarriffs) and handing over the l'or capsule business to peet's coffee in the US (seems like l'or capsules are filled in france).

Multiple reviews talk of lukewarm Tempature and measure at 170 degrees F or below that's not hot but lukewarm sorry

Just thinking you are buying 100 capsules worth $30 and you're buying the 2 pieces of equipments worth $45.00+ tax so the total end up $80.00 ! so it's a great deal if you needed to have a coffee maker ! you have a better cup of coffee than a cup of coffee by using keurig (k-cup) capsule !

Don't be. Mine brews very hot coffee and espresso. I have to wait for it to cool a little.
