With "cabinets" like this, you don't even really need a code to get in. A pry bar and a wedge, you're inside in under 10 minutes. A cordless grinder, you're inside in less than 5.

It's good for putting all your fake/cheap jewelry and petty cash to distract from where you keep the real stash (not kidding).

On the page it says you can save more by buying more Costco direct stuff, any recommendations?

" While not as big or thick as other safes, the door design and engineering is way more impressive than my buddy's (big name) safe while being the same size. You can't just pry into the door. The outer safe walls are effectively turned into a part of the door securing mechanism by disallowing a pry into the door. This is no foot locker."

those Keypads don't have an unlimited life. They will eventually go bad on you. Usually better to have a combo lock.

These type of safes aren't really mean to stop Oceans eleven lol... Its more to keep your kids out, to prevent the crime of opportunity or a quick smash and grab.

It's only 190 pounds. you don't need a pry bar or a grinder... just a dolly to take it with you lol.

No one wants to drill into their wall or floors to secure these.

They are there to keep honest people honest and your kids out of the gun. Anyone that really wants to get in will get in. It's the same with locks in your home. Doesn't really stop anyone if they want to.

You can also in many of these drill a hole where the pins go to lock the door. Take a piece of metal to push against the pin and with a hammer pop the door open as well. Takes only a few minutes to do.

This is absolutely useless.

Insurance companies would not even consider it a vault or a security feature of any kind, unless it weighed triple or was bolted to the floor.

As another poster mentioned, a hammer or crowbar would be in in 10 minutes.
