The one time i took advantage of this offer i did not receive the said credits after 30 days. Took me twice to contact Amazon support to get the credits and they issued $25 instead of $30.. didnt bother to contact them again. Never happened with Chewy and they give you the credit right when your order ships not after bs 30 days(if you even get them at all).

Yeah, Amazon used to issue promo credits when the order shipped too. Now it's a hassle taking screenshots of the offer and your cart and filing them for the occasional time when they don't add the credit to your account a month afterward. On top of that, in many rural areas (my area included) Amazon stopped using UPS altogether 1.5 years ago, so now EVERYTHING goes to the local Post Office which is not equipped to deal with heavy and bulky items. So anytime I order pet food off Amazon, it's a guaranteed trip to USPS to lug it all home. Go with Chewy for their superior customer service, near-instant gift card promos, and faster (TO YOUR DOOR) FedEx shipping. Their prices are sometimes cheaper than Amazon (even with the 5% CB Prime Visa).

If you use a Litter Robot, the only litter that doesn't give me problems is the Sustainably Yours brand. I've tried the Mixed, Large, and Small varieties -- They all work equally well, tho my cats are brash and track a lot of litter outside of the Robot. Smilie

It seems Sustainably Yours brand offers large bags to retail stores, but only the 10 lbs bags to Amazon.

Honestly, I don't trust this promo at all anymore. I ordered on May 25, 2025 — $138.15 total — and waited three months. No credit, no email, nothing. So I reached out to Amazon customer service, got bounced around three different reps, and finally I was like, "Can I just talk to a supervisor?" The supervisor asked me for the original promo page — thank God I saved it, 'cause who even does that? In the end they kinda grudgingly gave me a $30 credit. Such a crappy experience.

As others have said, Amazon can be a pain about actually getting the $30 credit. I personally have started taking screenshots and have had to chat with customer support at least twice to get my credit.
On the other hand, Chewy has the same promo going right now and as long as you see the promo listed next to the item, it applies at checkout flawlessly.

I think Amazon has begin to bank on the idea that many people will just forget about the credit or think must be they already used it. Only a small portion of those who didn't get it will end up contacting CS about it.
Kinda like years ago when companies did mail in rebates all the time, and I recall one rebate company from Bethlehem PA who would always deny every rebate that they got for not having the correct documentation, and you had to call or e-mail them, they'd take a look, say sorry about that everything's here, and then they'd validate your rebate. I kept on top of those, but how many people just let it go? That's how they make their money.
