Go an instant pot instead, which has a stainless steel pot
I just got it in-store for $70.
Where can I get the stainless steeel? That would perfectly complete my purchase.

This costco tiger cooker (china made) is pretty good, have similar one for 15 years still works like new , with daily use. The stainless bowl is $30-45 extra.
The japan made is good too.
Still better than insta pot for rice.
Coming from instant pot this was a big upgrade.
Advice find what rice you will use and then decide but I think can't go wrong with Zoji IH.

seems like the other advantage is to allow rice to stay good for a couple days without drying out?
