id recommend getting silicone straws but then I see you don't want to wash it. i personally like stainless steel and silicone straws.
Stainless steel straws are a hazard.

Disposable plastic straws are made from very low-quality plastics, which is why they release a significant amount of microplastics into your body.

yes, if you are walking around with them. sitting at a table or chair isnt an issue. unless you're in a natural disaster and the ceiling comes collapsing down on you. But they do sell versions with silicone attachments to help mitigate that. There are also Silicone straws (like Silipint) which prevents those types of hazards. check them out

I bought reusable draws a few times and always reverted back to plastic because I didn't like how hard metal or plastic tubes were and that I had to clean them.
I seen many people do the same thing.

I always see people try these then stop using them. I ask why being curious. Sensitive teeth? No good - glass carries tempature too well. Like to chew on straw? Mouh full of glass not enjoyable. Accidently drop it? Shatters into millions pieces. Stir ice to hard and breaks. The novelty is great but IRL just does not fly. Some people will come and say "O I love them". No one cares about the very few people that like them.
I have two. I use them for sucking air out bags 🤣. Other i cut for connection to view water filter, water for clarity. Never used for drink once.

Guys. People don't actually use these as straws. They are for something else.

For all of you that put straws in the dishwasher, do you scrub the inside with a brush in addition to the dishwasher? There's no way a dishwasher is cleaning the inside of a straw. The openings are just too small for any significant amount of dishwasher spray to make it inside enough to do any cleaning.

The reality is some infinitesimally small percentage of people using glass straws vs plastic straws isn't going to help the environment. Grand gesture on their part but the reality is me buying these isn't going to save the planet. Not to mention, I bet it takes more resources to make glass straws than plastic so in the end, are you ahead?

What? A DIY catheter? OUCH! Next you're going to tell me the brush isn't for cleaning the straws! 😮

I would not drink hot coffee through a straw. Iced is ok.

Never can have nice set of dishes... always start with even and ended up being odd
Agreed man. I baby all of my stainless steel cups. But anything porcelain or even borosilicate dishwash (plates, bowls, tumblers)

Are destined to be fumbled with wet hands into a shattered oblivion...

I will always buy cheap "kitchenware" lol

I think they call these "roses" at my local hood drive-thru

These are such a risk in terms of personal safety ....
And that is true even if they're being used for other purposes, including drug paraphernilia.

Either way, Amazon should be concerned about the liability to Amazon related to people selling these on Amazon.
