I want a 85" but part of me is telling me to go bigger and get the 98".

Anyone get the 98" and feel it was just too big?

I do have wall space so can do a 98".

How far will you be sitting from the TV? I personally think you should be at least like 12 feet away for a TV this big.
With that said, rare to find someone who has regretted going bigger. If you're far enough and have the space, go 98".

We are about 10-11 feet. And I don't want to be that person in line at Costco returning a big TV.

Anyone who has one of these 98 or 115 inch tvs knows how many watts they use per hour? Just curious. I know it would also depend on the picture setting eg. vivid.

5 hours a day will be about $93/year at 16 cents a kwh with 343 kwh/year.

I sit 13 feet from a 176" screen and 9' from a 77". Go big. You'll get used to it quick.

Oh the big TV people are nothing compared to the dead tree people and the sectional couch people. My favorite was the "this ham was too big" person.

The QM7K is much better (and brighter) and should be the same price. I bought it for $1800 at 98" and it's been a massive upgrade. TV is bright and makes HDR shine.

I'm sitting ~10' from the Hisense 100" and am very happy. I've never met anyone who regretted buying the larger TV, but plenty that wish they had bought bigger when they see a good set up. If you were sitting much closer than 10' obviously that is a different story. Just my opinion

If you don't have to turn your head to watch TV, then your TV ain't big enough.

I was going to get the qm7 85" but the best buy rep told me he couldn't show the tv in standard definition which is what the two issues of the tv is. when in standard it does not look good.
also i guess if you have a bright room the picture can look bad

I had both, the qm6k and qm7k, 98" models. you are correct that the 7k is a bit brighter, but the 6k has a full matte screen that absolutely decimates whatever nit brightness quality you get from the 7k in a bright living room.
