Forget the sodium. That's irrelevant. Most important is the 500 calories. Fatties.

Contrary to popular belief, sodium has very little to do with high blood pressure. Unless your eating extremely high sodium, well beyond what tastes good, general high sodium intake raises systolic pressure by only a couple of points. Every real doctor knows this.

Campbell's canned condensed spicy tomato has 9g of sugar per serving. This has 24g. Sugar soup.

Take the sodium into account, especially if you have a specific reason to. Although the connection with blood pressure is generally not to the extent it is portrayed, 1500 mg is very excessive and unnecessary, though not shocking for packaged soup. But, say 'holy shit' to that much sugar in soup.

There is some level of truth to this however your average American I a far cry from healthy. We make a big deal about sodium, sugar, and food dyes all while having a BMI of 40 and a waste line to match.

Just exercise daily and eat in moderation. You wanna eat more exercise more. I run 50 miles a week, I assure you I don't think twice getting extra fries.

No coupon for me just now and price is $9.99.

And for a clarification, the operative word ihere s bisque. It's a "bisque soup" which is very rich in my past experience but very tasty.

If you ever get a chance, try the crayfish bisque at a Papadeaux. Ask for a side of rice, and enjoy!

BISQUE.

Bisque is a smooth, creamy, and intensely flavored soup, traditionally made with shellfish like lobster, crab, or shrimp. It's characterized by its rich, velvety texture, achieved through pureeing and straining the soup, often with the addition of cream and a thickening agent like rice or ground shells.
