Just as a precaution....these are (small) 3 oz. cans....and yet they have the audacity to specify that one can is adequate for 3 servings! Does that include humans?....or just small birds??

The 3 servings is in each 3-pack. Serving size says "1 can, drained"

3oz cans are a joke

like a toilet with a joke hole that's only big enough for farts

The "regular" cans have been 5 oz for years now. So this is a decent deal per oz.

5oz cans are enough for one thick sandwich. 3oz are a bit small. I've seen a brand or two in Costco offering 4 or 4.5 oz cans, which would probably work nicely for one sandwich.

I am sure you are right.

Not just me though so always using multiple cans. These little guys will just involve a bit more squeezing.

These have half the tuna of a 5 oz can (slightly over - 70cal vs 130cal) so there's just under an ounce of water in the can, same as the slightly larger can. Still, about 2/3 the cost, per ounce of fish, as the walmart packs.Edit: I went a little more exp per ounce and got the 5oz cans (only 4...I don't eat *that* much tuna) since I've got a 15% S&S running this month. $4.41 net is a good deal for me.

Not shrinkflation, there's a deal posted on the 5oz.

Many people buy this size for portion control, take to work to open into a salad so the tuna tastes fresh. This packaging has been around for decades, always been 3 x 3oz cans in the pack.

Not a decent deal if you end up opening 2 cans!

5 ounce cans are good for 2-3 decent sandwiches....but that's if you're using normal sized bread or sandwich sized rolls. If it's a hero, that's another story. All sandwiches aren't created equal. The size of the bread is a major factor.

Regardless, one can, drained isn't a serving. It's hardly anything.

Hey, I'm not talking about finger sandwiches here. I use a full can on normal sandwich sized bread. I want TUNA in between the bread, not a thin paste!
