The 1TB is significantly slower then the 2TB and 4TB.

Endurance is so-so as well.
I think the 1TB drive is a good deal for people that maybe have 256 or 512GB SSD's now and don't pound the SSD with writes (general productivity, etc.) and the reads are still good. The price of the 2TB isn't that great a deal and I'd probably get a different brand that might be on sale for the same price from a more trusted company.

That is my thinking as well. I was going to get this as a cheap storage expansion for my PS5. However, the speeds on the 1TB drive make it less than ideal (might not work at all?) and I'll just wait for a deal on a better brand
