Just use the built-in Windows Defender (it is very effective); set your browser DNS to https://9.9.9.9/dns-query (free malware-domain blocking DNS: https://quad9.net); install the ublock origin browser extension and enable the anti-malware lists; and avoid shady websites. You don't even need to do all these things, but if you think you need it, all these are just as reliable and free.

Good timing as my subscription just ran out. Great price too at $13. Thanks.

Worth mentioning it's a coupon code and not a rebate.

You do not need this bloatware. Windows Defender is superior, built-in, and free.

Built-in and free, sure. But its protection is objectively not superior.

If it was good, it would be used in corporate environments. Absolutely no reputable organization uses this software. That is all you need to know. It's sold directly to uninformed consumers like subscription blackmail.

Agreed. Though Windows Defender left a lot to be desired back in its XP days it's come a long way since than. It offers decent protection now but is definitely not superior.
