You don't need a key reinstalling Windows 11. Activation is tied to the motherboard.
Only if the key has been activated online... Could be a chance that without activating online first, you could lose the key.

Just an FYI, to peeps not in the know.

Has anyone tried using this as a steam machine or something similar?
I had a similar one with the 680M from minisforum and it handled my steam library great. It would thermal throttle after 30 minutes or more of heavy GPU usage. Frame rates were dropped, but still playable. I believe it was the memory overheating in that model. UM773. Hopefully this one is better.

65W in a NUC package? They should slap a handle on it and add hair dryer to the list of features.

Plenty of laptops use this same CPU. This isn't any different. But it's not a 65w CPU...

The AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS processor has a default TDP (Thermal Design Power) of 35-54W. It can also be configured to operate at lower TDPs, such as 20W or 15W

Finally, this mini PC configuration reaches my "happy" price. My Amazon account offered 10% off and another 6% Amazon Visa cashback using 3-day shipping. My cost is $372 plus tax. An early birthday present to myself!
Thanks for your post.

Good news; Bosgame has clearly labeled drivers page. Bad news, they are hosted on Mediafire.

I don't get why these Chinese ODMs cannot purchase some server hosting for mere hundreds of dollars of a month to serve their driver downloads. Feels like everyone except for Minisforum is using Gdrive/Mega/Mediafire/etc.

Windows is activated with a digital license linked to your Microsoft account.

In Laptops, not in Mini PCs.

I had this exact same question. The reviews on Amazon have a few using it as a Steam deck. I ordered a Beelink that is higher in price. Hasn't shipped yet so will probably cancel and order this one.
