GMA secret deals has the Embr Wave 2 wrist bands for half price. $149 instead of $299.

This band you wear on your wrist can make you feel cooler or warmer, whatever you choose (there are like 30 programs) using the controls on it to activate a mind-body response that gives the sensation of cooling/warming/relaxation.

https://abcsecretsales.com/produc...d-20250801

Contents:
One (1) Embr Wave 2 Wristband in Rose Gold or Black
One (1) magnetic charging base
One (1) USB-C cable

This is very cool tech at the lowest price I've seen one of these. They have a rose gold one for women and a black one for men.

There are a bunch of reviews on youtube. This one cuts to the chase in the "does it work" section:

The colors aren't gender-specific. They're not even different sizes. Both are adjustable between 5.3"–9.25" in circumference.

Two hours of charge time for ~9 hours of use? You'll be taking this thing on and off all day, just to keep it charged. and what happens when the company decides to move to a subscription model or goes out of business, altogether? Will the app keep working for those who have already purchased a device?

I mean, I think *most* men are not going to be interested in the Rose Gold one, and be more into the black one. Of course, that doesn't mean they HAVE to choose black, if they want Rose Gold, go for it. But I think the two colors offered are *roughly* gender aligned.

COMPLETELY depends on which mode you're using, and you don't run it all day, solid, just on demand. As much as 15 hours if you're in cool down mode. And I think it's designed as a mostly overnight device, with on-demand capabilities during the day (as in, hot flashes, etc).

Here are some times if you continuously run modes (which is not the main use), based on Embr Lab's testing:
  • Cool Down: approx. 8-15 hours (500-900 minutes).
  • Warm Up: approx. 3-4 hours (180-210 minutes). Varies based on personal settings.
  • Hot Flash: approx. 3-5 hours (180-250 minutes). Varies based on personal settings.
  • Fall Asleep Cooling: approx. 4-5 hours (280 minutes). Varies based on personal settings.
  • Fall Asleep Warming: approx. 2-3 hours (175 minutes). Varies based on personal settings.
  • Stay Asleep Cooling: approx. 9 hours (540 minutes). Varies based on personal settings.
  • Stay Asleep Warming: approx. 9 hours (540 minutes). Varies based on personal settings.

They've been around for 6-7 years, and this is the v2 of their product, so I think these fears are a bit overblown.

I'm a woman and I'd prefer the black color. Rose gold may be trendy right now but it would clash with any silver or gold jewelry I'm wearing. I just wanted to point out that both colors were the same size in case implying one color was for men and the other color was for women might make people think that the two colors were different sizes different sizes. I agree that most men would probably not like the rose gold (more power to those who do), but women could go either way with rose gold or black. I'd actually prefer a silver or gunmetal color, but the black color is nice, too.

Thanks for the info! I'd primarily be interested in the cooling mode, so this info is very helpful. Repped. Have you used this product yourself can you speak to how effective the cooling mode is?

I don't have firsthand experience with the Ember Wave 2, but I've been following the tech since the first kind of clunky Embr Wave 1 device. This one solves all the problems of the clunky original, so I can see getting one of these, especially at this price.

Although this seems expensive for what it is, I'm hoping that somebody has experience with these. Looking to get this for my wife who is in perimenopause and has really bad hot flashes.

Besides the one linked in my OP, there are tons of reviews on youtube, some quite detailed, and a number specifically from people with hot flashes that it helped.

I just picked one up for $125.10, not including tax and optional shipping/return insurance.

New customers can use code ABCWELCOME10 for 10% off their first order. Note that this is the same code you'll receive for giving them your email address before placing an order.

After adding the 10% off code, I left the cart and went back to the item's page, then clicked on the cart again to discover the code DEALS10 had been automatically added, for an additional $10 off. The $10 off discount shows up in a different location in the cart than the 10% off discount does, so I'm not sure if it can manually be added or if two manual codes are allowed. But, it's worth a shot if the second code isn't automatically applied for you. I just assumed it was an extra incentive for not checking out right after entering the first code.

You can if you consider a perceived ±~5° difference to be comfortable/warm.

You could try wearing x20 on the cool setting for -100°, but watch out for hypothermia.
