These are actually good for tactical training (shooting, movement, etc). Used these when I was a firearms instructor with a Sheriff's Office.

Are these good for doing actual work? I'm looking for a pair of work gloves I can use. Nothing crazy, just something to protect my hands when picking up and moving things around.

And yes, for military application.

I recommend the goatskin 3 pack from Costco. Think they go on sale for $20-22 somewhat regularly. When they get filthy I wear them with soap and wash my "hands" then dry them and they last about a year. The cheap harbor freight ones are good too for $3-4 and disposable if they get dirty.

I mean, it's more parsimonious than "airsoft gloves with capacitive fingertips so you don't need to remove your gloves to use your touchscreen device"

Bought a near identical pair a year ago and I believe these run small, can anyone else confirm?

Pretty sweet deal. I've been using my fingerless MTB gloves for yard work. Helps with the vibrations of weed eater and blower.

I really thought they were advertising the fingerless gloves as being touchscreen compatible for a second

Oooh, didn't know about this. I love the goatskin HF ones but didn't know Costco had them.
