Yeah, HD is a slightly better choice. Especially if you need replacement lids. (just ask a manager, you can usually snag a couple extra.)HD totes don't stack with Costco, unfortunately.

Not going to speak about the price but I just recently bought a bunch of these and I'm pretty happy with them. Seem sturdy enough and stack together nicely.

Target recently rolled out some yellow-lidded ones under the Brightview brand in June. I picked up a couple 27gl for $8 and a 17gl one for $7.20, introductory priced. Don't know about compatibility or how they compare but they seemed suitably sturdy. Claim a 75-lb weight capacity.
