Looks like a price mistake. The price initially shows $1299 (instead of $2199) when we click the link, but it gets updated to the regular price with a $500 EPP discount.

you dont, its included for free Big Grin

its not like without it then you get no support or stuck with a "lemon". you still get support via email/phone/chat but its not open 24/7 so.. wait till tomorrow?

and you still get standard warranty? no idea what a no lemon is.

there are things we can complain about samsung marketing, but this doesn't seem worth throwing a hubbub.

I have a bunch of analogue fpga retro consoles, plus a few modern gaming consoles in the game room. The couch is really close to the tv and honestly my ancient 65" is overkill. This could be an upgrade, just not sure about the curved screen. Sitting probably double the ideal distance.

I use this all day every day for software engineering, best monitor I've ever owned out of dozens. One of the only 4k options you can use completely comfortably at 100% scaling, which gives you the equivalent of 4x 1080p monitors of space. Recently switched it to portrait for heavier AI CLI interactions that require reading a ton of text at once, and now this deal has me considering whether I could switch to 2-3 in portrait and still read the text on all of them comfortably

I mean, the new TCL & Hisense TVs are 165hz mini LED with very low latency, so you're paying a premium for this curved screen. Not worth it IMO to most people except in specific use cases. Otherwise better of with a 55 inch QM7K for ~$500 on sale or $598 today.

At this size, the curve is necessary if you are actually using it at a monitor.
