This is the brightest light I own, by far. I attached a pic from a few weeks ago; the treeline is 160 yards from where I'm standing, and the entire area is lit up. This light wows everyone who comes in the vicinity of it.
  • 6 * XHP50 LEDs.
  • Includes 3 x 21700 batteries.
  • Choose from two emitting colors: 6000k-6500k (cool white), or 5000k-5300k (natural light).
  • Can also serve as power bank to charge devices.
  • Uses Anduril 2 UI.
  • Water resistance rating: IP68

wow, I paid $75 for mine 2 years ago - good deal on a great, albeit hefty torch.I highly recommend getting the 5000k-5300k "daylight" version, unless you want a more sterile white hue.Bought a silicone diffuser for mine for a few bucks, it's a good accessory to have.

Bought the Sofirn SP36 Pro 8000 lm for $31. Is this a worthwhile upgrade for 16000 lm?

Got one last time around when it was $37. Too big to carry along, but sure illuminates dark places well. Included batteries are good.

Look at it this way... The included batteries, alone, cost almost $30.

Yep, that was a great price. This one is closer to normal "on sale" pricing.

This was a great deal under $40, just alright at the current price. Impressive output, and is actually useful if you get the silicone diffuser for it.

Yeah but better 21700 batteries cost less from reputable vendors (atleast within the USA)

Sofirn is a reputable vendor of Sofirn batteries that operate in Sofirn lights.
But if you have another vendor that you like, and they offer button top batteries that meet the specs required to operate the Q8+, then they should work as well.

Didn't mean to imply sofirn isn't a reputable seller, only that I am getting pricing from another reputable seller (unlike amazon).

I would hope they provide batteries with the specs to operate the flashlight they are bundling them with.
