Quick question. Does cash back card like BCE or BCP work with this? I am planning to get an AMEX card but I don't think I can bring much benefit out of the AMEX Green, Gold or the Plat card.

Cash-back cards won't work for this. You have to earn points shown without value not rewards that show as dollars.
