I bought this exact machine from Woot! about 2-1/2 or 3 years ago. I paid around $280 for it. I've used it maybe a dozen or fifteen times, mostly for mesquite and acacia when I prune them or the inevitable storm cleanup. I've been satisfied with the performance of the machine after becoming accustomed with it's limitations.

For example, the advertised 3 inch maximum capacity… yes, physically it can digest a 3 inch limb, but it takes some time for it to chew it up. And of course unless the limb is relatively straight, it's necessary to chop it into manageable lengths and cut any severe crooks and bends. I typically limit the limb thickness to 2-1/2 inches or less to speed up the process and reduce the strain on the equipment.

Also, it handles green limbs fine, but when the smaller diameter bits are green it doesn't really process them well. Easy enough solution is to let the green stuff dry out for a few days before sending them through.

The waste chute does a good job depositing everything into a pile so I've taken to placing a large concrete mixing tub under the chute to help cleaning up the waste, either shoveling into bags or dumping the tub into the compost pen.

Also, it doesn't do well with very fibrous waste such as that from palm trees and such. That stuff gets wrapped around the impeller shaft and takes an age to get it out of the chopping chamber.

If you don't have many trees and don't often need to dispose of trimmings, this isn't really worth the price of admission and effort to use and store. But if you have several trees and find yourself doing pruning and storm cleanup regularly, you'll probably appreciate the time and sweat this machine will save you.
