This is worth it for the batteries alone. Free tool IMO. This is one of the favorite drills. Its only downside is the noise. Great power, size and weight.

Then buy the deal linked to above.
Make sure that they show the pro-rated price for each item when you check out.
That will show that the drill is about $80 and the batteries are about $70.
You choose which you want to return. If you return the drill, you'll get $80 back, which makes the batteries about $50 in the end.

The OP deal is better if you want to keep BOTH the drill and the batteries.

How much difference is this drill from the regular m12 that was in the five tool combo kits couple years back

Been eyeing this for a long time. I've got the m18 fuel series and enjoy it. But this would be nice to keep nearby in the house and be more wieldable for the wife

This is a good deal if you need batteries, but these M12 high torque tools work so much better with a 4a + battery.
I drilled 18 holes in concrete with this drill and worked my 3/8" stubby busting rusted bolts, but only with a 4 + 6a battery.

If your wife has small hands, you'd be better off the a Dewalt 12V drill.

Because the Milwaukee and Bosch 12 volt tools have the battery go up into the handle, it makes the handle larger. The Dewalt handle is smaller because the battery slides onto the bottom of the handle like the 18V tools do.

Is this price different by region or am I missing something? Showing up as $149.
