I'm a home diy guy. Is this sufficient for me instead of a regular 20v drill from team yellow?

I love the m12 line, plenty of power for diy and more use. But I would wait for a impact/driver combo deal with batteries.

I have both and end up reaching for the M12 tools for around the house more often than not. I got the set of drill and driver plus batteries for cheaper than this, I'd hold out on a deal on that one.

Way better deal right here, feel free to post it I don't care:https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwa.../321639499 Add free battery, in cart the kit price comes down to $146.48 before tax. Assuming you return the extra battery packs.

is the home depot app patheticly slow for anyone else all the time. No matter how good my connection, everything else can be lightning fast but the Home Depot is just maddeningly slow to use.

But only the m12 fuel product line the non fuel feels like there is less power generated IMO.

Really torn here. I need to replace my daily driver drill, which is a 15 year old or so M18. Been seriously considering going to the M12, but i already have the installation drill\driver, which fills the need for a "small" drill when i need it. More and more though, i'm finding M12 stuff that gets the job done that you previously needed to go M18 for...
And while I don't need to drill into masonry with any kind of regularity, it comes up every other year or so for one reason or another, and i'd be worried of it being outclassed here. Its one of those, "do i buy a drill that is overkill for 95% of what i do, and be grumpy about its size\weight", or do I buy a drill that will come up short every so often.
And no, both isn't an option. I already have my old old retired drill, my current about to be retired drill, a corded one for mixing, the m12 installation driver, aand a few other randos in a box somewhere that can be used for sacrificial tasks, and don't feel like dropping 250 bucks on a drill that only comes out once a year..
