I got some full grain leather belts made in Poland off eBay for $15 about 15 years ago, and they're still holding up strong after daily wear. if it's really full grain leather it should last a lifetime with normal use.
My only issues I've had with some full grain leather belts is that they used the cheapest pot metal for the buckles and they broke with normal use.

Oddly enough my solution for it was to run to Goodwill and bought a belt with the same size buckle. It was a cheap mostly cardboard belt and cost me $1 or 2 and I removed the buckle, put it on my leather belt and there it still is, all these years later.

Really suspicious of the reviews. Aside from some broken buckles, almost all with pictures are positive with similar headlines and multiple pictures. Seems like a lot of fake reviews. I wish there was a site that would rate Amazon product reviews to weed out the imposters.
Agree, I miss Fakespot

Just got mine, its like a hard piece of plastic, No way is the full grain leather. it has no leathery cross section. This thing is going to crack and peel after a few uses. Back to Whole Foods you go, not even worth $7. I mean I should have known better but the description is a complete lie. I've owned a lot of belts and this has to be one of the worst quality I've seen. No way it would sell in a store, doesn't even have leather smell, just 100% fake

THANK YOU! Finally a post from someone that got one, not just speculation. You saved me the hassle of ordering and returning.

TLDR - Ordered 4 at discount price and hoping they're the same quality as identical looking belts I ordered on Amazon in 2021 which were real full grain for only $6 each.

I went ahead and ordered 2 sets (total of 4) of the black and brown triple protection buckle version. They look identical to the belts I bought back in 2021 on Amazon from a company called Cow Staunch for only $6 each. I bought 3 at that time and this particular style was true full grain leather. They haven't cracked, peeled, or failed in any way and are super heavy duty but flexible. The Cow Staunch version I expect to last a lifetime. I gave one to my son, use one for casual, and one for work. When I say work I mean tree work and fire prevention in the Sierra Nevada near Yosemite. I regret not ordering more as they only sold them for a short time. Fingers crossed it's the same belt under a different name. Worth the risk in my opinion but only for this style. I'll try and update when they arrive but not sure what will still be available at that time. BTW all four I put in cart marked down to half price. Just click on the promotion link first.

In no universe is this "full grain leather." The product description itself describes it as the "top layer" of the hide, which by definition is not full grain. It also has an "anti discoloration coating" which is a dead giveaway for thin and/or bonded garbage. Real full grain leather would never crack, split, or peel like shown in some of the customer photos. You're not going to find it for $7.50 unfortunately, but you're patient and do a little snooping you can probably snag one somewhere for $30 on sale and it will last (and look good) for the rest of your life.
Which belts are avaialble for 30 bucks if we are patient and wait? I can wait but I would need to know what brand/model i am potentially looking so that I can put alerts. Can't be snooping all the time.

Good luck wearing that when you need something more dressy.

2 inches? That's ridiculous.
