Is there any way I can actually play hidden folks on my Android for free? Have added the game to my epic games account and I can't seem to access it on my phone to play it

Have to download the Epic Games app, and be sure you buy the mobile version of the game. Epic Games app side loads these, so you can't just have them without it. To load Epic Games on most androids you have to disable the file checker as the app isn't approved for some reason. It's a huge pita and I gave up on loading them after a while as I also found the apps to crash too often despite using a brand new phone (S25U). But yes, you can.
