Once you use the store credit on something else...the items you got in the 1st purchase essentially become free.

TBD, you can apply them, but not sure if it will hurt the spending threshold on $25 for the $10 Q to come off. If it doesn't (coupon still applied) you're good, if not, you can simply remove the extra bucks you applied and pay with CC, gift card, etc.

CVS can be a little dicey where ECB's are applied, we'll know for sure on Sunday AM.

That's a matter of opinion. If someone gives me back what I spent, to spend it again, then as far as I'm concerned, the first batch of stuff was free. I'm always rolling ECB's on new ECB deals at CVS where they can be rolled.

How is getting back $11 in store credit where you shop at all the time when you spent $10, really much different than getting a $10 Visa Rebate on $10 spend? For me it's 6 of one, 1/2 dozen of the other.

Looks like newbie to extracare deals. Now, the good old days are gone when ECB from this week or month will pay for next purchase which again generate ECB and the cycle goes on.

Yup, especially with extrabucks that expire in 30 days.

Yes don't understand why they expire so quickly, esp when Walgreens cb goes a year, I think?

Great deal. Thanks for posting!
A couple things to consider:
1) This 10 off 25 can be used on tons of things, so although this is "free" there are many other options to consider that still give ECBs back
2) ECBs can potentially be worth more than face value, as others have mentioned, because you can keep rolling and rolling them. I shop at CVS weekly or more frequently and almost never spend actual real dollars (other than tax)
