Do these come with new batteries? Or call Dell after purchase and complain, pray that they send a new replacement ?

Not the deal that is on the page. The lowest price is $479 and it won't take the code.

Bought one of these in January with an i7 processor. Found a great deal on a 2TB 990 pro SSD and added 2 16gb sticks of ram. I'm happy and and it's flying fast.

I don't use the touchscreen of it often, but super useful when I've been sitting in waiting rooms lately to just touch the screen instead of navigating the touchpad.

The Elitebook 845 G8 deal blows the doors off of any of these. Even without touch screen. Single channel memory really sucks.

Is that one the 250nit?

And don't those have port problems, "Elite" level or no?

I'm one that values the Touch function, too.

Yes, but HP sucks more...I have had DELL (used, abused in manufacturing environments for decades), yet have worked on more of these cheap "crap ware" laden @HP laptops after only a year or two and repairs are pain - cheap plastic...

sounds like you've never used/managed HP business class laptops.
