Regular price is 299 which is what I got it for months ago.

8% off is hardly a slickdeal.

I used the rtings recommended picture settings and everything started looking like complete ass.

Those guys are on crack, blind and stupid.

Just leave the TV in default state, don't mess with picture settings AT ALL. It only gets worse if you do. The only thing to do is to turn off all those "smart" automatic picture enhancements. There's A LOT of very nasty ghosting with motion smoothing. Never seen this much ghosting in my life. Or leave it to bare minimum.

It's actually $279... not $297. Also available thru Amazon (S & S by Best Buy)

Wow still crying about the tarrifs huh, I thought all that was over when the actual world didn't end and prices are cheaper now then they were before for products!

What is cheaper now? We're all paying extra taxes on everything.

OP ($297) was for Best Buy. I think it was a typo. Since when does Best Buy do subscribe and save? When this thread was started Amazon (shipped & sold by Best Buy) was the same price ($279.99) as BB without subscribe and save.

I hate all the FireOS products I've used. FireTV is just one thing I'll never use. The ads are so invasive on tablets, I can't imagine what they have planned for TV.

I bought one of these 65" insignia TV's with the fireOS for black friday about 3 or 4 years ago. It was about this same price from what I remember. It's been flawless with basically daily use.

Products cheaper now huh? Please share an example of this? I'll share my example. I use to pay $13 for a certain brand of coffee at Costco. Same bag of coffee increased to $16 and now is $20. Can't wait until the domestic coffee hits the shelf so I no longer have to rely on imports coffee….oh wait. Will never be able to talk sense to the kool aid drinkers.

OH and I thought I was going to make it through my day without hearing more crying but then you chimed in ROFL. Prices go up all the time for all sorts of reasons, for example bad growing season, general inflation, corporate greed, minimum wage increases all sorts of reasons and I have seen at least 100 items recently ( all imports) that are being sold at their lowest prices ever so Tariffs in fact have not caused the sky to fall Stick Out Tongue Imported weight sets cheapest I have ever seen, 3D printers Bambu and Creality lowest prices I have ever seen recently, I could go on but don't feel like it but there are examples everywhere of prices lower then 2019 prices for items! Of course tariffs aren't responsible for prices lowering the economy is bad so companies can't price gouge like they used to and are offering goods at more reasonable prices, but the point is the sky didn't fall and the world didn't end like soo many of you criers screamed !!!
