Insane this thing doesn't have Bluetooth lol. I just want a cheap little android handheld, the Linux ones suck for pd charging and Bluetooth audio

i've been obsessively looking into this the last few days (as a new comer) and i ended up ordering the trimui brick fo around $40 (there's a $10 coupon out there) -- https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1...64605.html

the miyoo mini v4 seems well adored, i think i saw it down to like $25 a few months ago

i'm also interested in the retroid pocket mini v2, but at $200 i'm gonna hold out and see how much i use my $40 Brick

so to rank, and exclude widescreen devices,

retroid mini v2 > trimui brick > miyoo mini v4

2.8" screen. how can anyone be okay with staring at such a tiny screen?

At this price point, you can get a Trimui Smart Pro when those deals roll around and they have a 5 inch screen.
EDIT: Actually, same promo code brings the price of the Trimui Smart Pro down to the same price as this.

I picked one up during the last sale a few weeks ago. The build quality of the device is great! The screen size is small, but the picture is bright, crisp, and smooth. It works very well out of the box. The software is stable, though a little overwhelming to back out of if you hit a few wrong buttons.
Hardware Cons: No Bluetooth.
Software Cons: Needs a "play mode" where all the settings are locked/inaccessible to prevent button-mashers from getting lost.
