Quote from WiseMoney7410 :
They are in plastic containers if you want to know
People have been eating from Tupperware and Ruppermaid since the 60s and they are living to 90-99 years. As for plastic in the ecology, plastics are very stable in landfills for a hundred or more years. The problem with plastics is when cities on the coasts dump garbage with plastics in the ocean. Those people must have been brought up with pigs in their dining room.
I miss my deep fried pies from McDonalds and my McFries haven't been as good since they took away beef tallow in the frying oil. Too many busybodies telling you what not to eat. And then they complain that we are getting overcrowded. Look, count how many in your family are making it past 85 years old and adjust your lifestyle for that. If you have a lot of family making it to 95, great, you can eat all the bacon and trans-fats you want to. If your family isn't making it to the age of 75, then you can stay away from plastics. My mom made it to 90. The last 10 years are the diapers and daily pain years...why would you want to extend those years? Give me an extra 10 years in high school and I will eat all the broccoli and celery you want me to.
