Costco had this for $150 in many locations as well. Possibly only the black one. Not advertised as far as I can see because it's the old model but you can search your local warehouse via app ( 1443876 )

I wouldn't buy this for this much money. I have it for my iPad Pro 12.9" and vinyl wrapping is undone all throughout the edge and I just recently put superglue on it to stop flapping around and looking like cheap crap. I cannot understand why they made this with vinyl wrap that gets undone with some use. This is dumb and not warranted for an item that costs this much.

I love the people that come on here only to bash on the price. It may not be what you want to pay for a keyboard, but some are willing to pay that because they like this specific product and are willing to pay more for the quality or their preferred choice.

The Smart Connector on this is a huge benefit compared to Bluetooth keyboards. I bought a third party one on Ali express for $100 with the connector and recent iOS updates made it no longer work.

Other Bluetooth keyboards I've tried that are similar style, feel cheap and I prefer charging one device instead of 2. "Cheap" keyboards that are similar are 30-60 bucks and do not compare in my opinion.

Thanks OP for posting!

I kind of want a keyboard for my iPad Pro, but this is not compatible with the newer iPads. It'll become a paperweight when I upgrade my iPad, and then need to shell out for a new keyboard.

Anyone know why this wouldn't work with a 6th gen iPad Air? Daughter has one in college, would be nice to have the keyboard for her
It does work for 6th gen iPad Air. 6th gen is the M2.

It also works great on the iPad Air M3 as well. I drastically prefer this version more than the newest one that they put out. Great deal for a new unit.

This won't work with the M4 Pro. There is a new (more expensive) MKB for M4 iPad Pros

Thank you so much for the info but it looks like in the verizon website under compatibility they mentioned 4th gen ipad pro is compatible. Can I say that it is a clear mistake from their side? FYI, I already placed the order and there is usually a $50 restocking fee.

4th gen ipad pro is M2 chip, not M4

I have both (plus previous gen Logitech) and they have their pros and cons. Apple one is closer to a laptop style case that can be put on a lap, very solid and heavy, extra USB C connector on the side is very useful for charging or plugging in other devices, but not as strong in all around protection since the iPad isn't fully covered especially or "naked" when you take it out of its case for tablet use. Typing experience is great, keys are solid, more than the Logitech.

Logitech is a kickstand based case, all around protection even if used as a tablet, detachable keyboard. Better view adjustability with kickstand at flatter angles, good for artists that like to draw on iPad with a slightly elevated angle. Tricky to use on the lap since it's a kickstand. Otherwise very solidly build but with asterisks. Question long term reliability - previous Logitech case (basically the current case with non-detachable keyboard) failed due to the flex cable of the keyboard breaking after about 5 years of everyday use since the keyboard is "flexible" and can be folded unlike the Apple one, and it was also $150+ at the time I bought it too. Keyboard is a bit mushier than I'd like, I prefer Apple one. Since I have the old and new to compare, the newer one Logitech cheaped out and used thinner materials ever so slightly, resulting in case warping near the parts where the hole cutouts are, like for the speaker grill.

IMHO, i'd stick with the Apple case simply because it doesnt have a "detachable" keyboard and will last longer simply by not having a flex cable that constantly bends at large angles and wears out over regular use. Logitech case will be cheaper and Apple is usually much more expensive, so keep that in mind for the budget conscious. Also like the previous post said, the Apple case is for the M3 processor and below. M4 uses a new set of Smart Connectors and thus a completely different case altogether.

Thanks for the tip. Our Costco was flush with them. Hoping for $99 or lower soon.

Any non Verizon customers who ordered this - did you get an order confirmation, followed by another email asking you to send proof of identity and proof of address?
