Costco had this for $150 in many locations as well. Possibly only the black one. Not advertised as far as I can see because it's the old model but you can search your local warehouse via app ( 1443876 )

Generally bluetooth keyboards are not as reliable, intermittent connections. Also requires its own battery plus charge separately. Since I've used all types, bluetooth case and a Smart Connector case like this one, all heavy use, the Smart Connector cases has been a much better experience. Bluetooth connections were like 98% great, but you do notice that 2% of either a delay/lag…subtle but you do know when you know. Charging case is a small inconvenience but it is nice to never have to charge a case. It's the little things that make it a better overall experience. My 2 cents.

i didn't even get an order confirmation and my credit card was not charged for more than 3 days now.. perhaps it did not go thru

I got the email immediately after. I've ordered from Verizon and have never been asked for more info. I don't trust it.

Ugh. I pulled the trigger too quick on this. Since it was available in the white color, I assumed was the latest-gen model that has the extra row of keys at the top to control brightness, volume, etc. Nope. And now it's unboxed/open, but looking at the terms of their return policy (https://www.verizon.com/support/return-policy/) it seems like I should be able to return it within 30 days and the $50 restocking fee is noted as applying to "wireless devices".

The newer iPad Air case does not have backlight so keep that in mind, not to be confused with the iPad Pro M4 magic keyboard case.

It looks like Verizon has the white ones back in stock (9/27/25). I just ordered the white one. Also, Costco has the black ones on clearance sale (.97). You are not gonna find it on costco.com. You have to go to Search Warehouse Inventory, type 1443876 (current price $149.97). I see some available at Costco Cumberland Mall in Atlanta, GA. I was debating which one to get. I have Apple's black folio case, and it gets really dirty all the time. I hope the white one will look better. Also, my 2022 iPad Pro M2 has a pretty poor battery life, so I think it's a good idea to start using the iPad docked and be more careful with that USB-C port.
