If it's used as it's intended, it doesn't overheat. I ride mountain bike trails with the GoPro mounted on my chest. It's recording at its max resolution for hours (multiple batteries back to back) in the middle of Georgia summers. Never had the camera overheat.

I bought a gopro 11 hero black from them and the packaging was banged up but everything else looked brand new. Just ordered this one as well.

Didn't know the was a thing for gopros. But wouldn't the defeat the maneuverability and the small size of the camera?
