Nothing to see here. Everyday Apple EDU price. Same price at Bestbuy unless you have a Microcenter nearby to pricematch to $450.

No tax in FL makes a difference. Do you know why? It ships from Amazon and it is sold by Amazon.com which usually does charge taxes.

Microcenter = 449.99 + tax = $481.49
Amazon = $499 - (Get 6% back with your Prime Visa) = $469.06

(And yes, of course I will declare sales taxes if it is my personal obligation, etc...)

For those with a local MicroCenter, I recently purchased the Mac Mini from Best Buy at $499.99 and can confirm I was able to price match to $449.99 today, using the online chat, by providing my zip code and the link to the MicroCenter Mac Mini page.

Normally apple products aren't marked down this much, even during holiday season. Is there any reason why this one is? (500 or 450 at MC for months)

Reviews are great all round, so at least product is solid. I checked m5 Mac mini but it won't be here till late 2026.

They do have a warranty but it's EXTREMELY limited. So much so you're way better off getting apple care.

Hi, what do you mean? I meant warranty only against manufacturing defects.
Applecare is more for damage caused by ourself right? Drop, water etc?

Ah okay. Yeah it's only manufacture defects. I'm used to the Costco 2 year warranty being so robustful there's no questions asked. This does not apply to apple products.

Well, to be fair, not everyone needs more built in storage. If you can live with 256GB or ok with an external drive, this is a solid price (for an apple product, anyway)
