Good deal. It cheaps out on certain things (like speakers), but screen is quality and all the main stuff is upgradeable (RAM, WiFi, 2 SSDs.) I was kicking myself a little bit a few weeks ago for not snagging one of the 4090s they had on refurb, but bit on this one.

Didn't realize the laptop 5070ti has 12gb vram vs 16gb for the desktop. I have a legion 4060 with a ryzen 7. Play msfs 2024 vr. I play on medium to high and want to upgrade at some point. I like this price though.

Yeah, jumped at this deal when I saw it. Just know that the battery life is weak, you can't disengage the dGPU and the display can't be lowered to 60Hz. It does have G-Sync, but that high refresh rate and the dGPU always being active hammers the battery life. Because they made it thinner and lighter, it's also a lower TDP (115). Other 5070 ti based laptops go higher.
That said, it's got a very powerful processor and a dGPU with 16GB of VRAM and an excellent 240Hz 16" OLED display. So there's your compromise.
For this price, it was an easy buy for me.

Heads up, I'm pretty sure it's 12gb VRAM not 16gb.

Holy crap that was fast. I bought this new and returned due to the same reasons the other guy said. Can't lower the hz to conserve battery while not gaming. Gets really hot. Only 115watt tdp. Ended up getting the 5070ti legion pro for 1850 plus 8% CB on top

Little surprised they couldn't fit a 90Whr battery in this. Great price regardless.

5070Ti scales very well with power. You can flash the Asus G16's vbios onto this card to bump up the GPU tdp from 115W to 125W and see a decent 7-10% performance gain if you can manage the additional heat and noise.
